My first story from my Google alerts on my sanitation project. A chief of one of the areas in Ghana organized
a community clean-up exercise in celebration of his anniversary. They distilled choked drains and cleared all the filth on the streets and markets.
This brought a whole lot of people together. It involved the members of the community, the youth, government officials and cleaning companies. They really had fun because it fostered peace and unity in cleanliness.

ReplyDeleteA good number of pictures gives the understanding what people of Ghana are doing to clean their community. These post describing the event in an easy and short way is very inspiring, though. Having fun while picking up trash - this is what each community needs!
